About Randy Harris
My name is Randy Harris and I am a Licensed Wedding Officiant with the Province of Ontario. I perform hundreds of wedding ceremonies each year across the GTA. From simple ceremonies, to elegant celebrations!
Family…
- I recently married the love of my life and we celebrated our wedding reception at the Cambridge Mill. We currently live in Milton.
- I have 3 close brothers, 9 amazing nephews (no princesses yet!) & parents thankfully still very healthy and very much in love after 43 years of marraige
Education…
- Completed two undergraduate degrees at the University of Toronto (B.Sc.) and Master’s College & Seminary (B.Re.).
- Completed Master’s degree in Johannesburg, SA at S.A.T.S. (M.Th.)
- I completed my TESL certification in Toronto
- Currently a Sessional Professor of English in ESL at Seneca College, Toronto
- Currently completing my MDiv; Masters of Divinity at Tyndale Seminary in Toronto
Travels…
- I have been privileged to travel through 5 continents, touring Eastern Europe and serving in Southern and Central Africa. I lived for 2 years in Johannesburg, SA, and 6 months in Blantyre, Malawi.
- Served in short-term missions & humanitarian projects in Malawi, First Nation Reservations, Bulgaria, Cuba, & South African nations.
- Travelled for pleasure to Greece, Turkey, Mexico, Cuba…
Experiences…
- Pioneered and directed youth & family outreach programs for community groups, in Mississauga for 8 years
- Directed summer camps for 5 years, reaching underprivileged youth and First Nations communities in Northern Ontario & Manitoba.
Interests & Passions…
- My radiant wife, the love of my life
- my faith, playing with my nephews, travel, exotic foods, great reading, inspiring conversation with great coffee amongst good friends
- sports: squash, basketball, table-tennis, and yes, crokinole.
- movies: Luther, Lord of the Rings, Freedom Writers, The Incredibles, Ratatouille.
Besides teaching English at Seneca College, assisting in a small church, I am also a Licensed Wedding Officiant serving the GTA. I have been honoured to help hundreds of couples begin their marriage adventure.
